lift_world took place on 30 november 1996 in a multi_dimensional elevator servicing the greater sydney / poland line. as usually happens in these things, distance, mass and time distort. fortunately, the transdimensional exacerbants of the situation operate normally under such conditions and so, despite the various and voracious nasties hurled between them by the engulfing maw of the abyssal hyperspace commonly known as the internet, the pair of star-cross'd lovers met their fate.
